EUROPE - Henderson Global Investors has made a series of appointments in Zurich and Amsterdam.

It's named Ariane Dehn as manager of its Zurich office while Erik van de Weele joins the Amsterdam-based Benelux and Scandinavian team.
 
Dehn was previously responsible for its wholesale distribution business in Austria.

Van de Weele joins from ABN Amro Asset Management where he was a senior account manager of third party fund sales.

He'll report to Steven de Vries, director of sales for Benelux and Scandinavia.
 
"Henderson's offshore Horizon fund range has been extremely successful with over €6bn under management in Europe," said Kate O'Neill, director of pan-European wholesale distribution and hedge funds.

"Further developing our proposition to the German speaking part of the Swiss market is key to our European success."
