UK – Henderson Global Investors has appointed two former J P Morgan Fleming Asset Management employees to its UK institutional marketing team.

Arno Kitts joins as director of UK institutional marketing, and Gareth Davies joins as client director of UK institutional marketing.

Kitts will be responsible for managing and expanding the client base and assets under management within the UK institutional pensions market. He will report to Mike Clare, managing director of the UK business.

Kitts replaces John Nestor, who left last summer to take up a position as head of Citigroup Asset Management’s institutional business in Europe.

Davies was previously a relationship manager at J P Morgan Fleming Asset Management, where he was responsible for client relationships and business management. Prior to this he worked in the investment department at Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow, advising institutional pension funds on investment strategy.

Henderson has 29 billion dollars in European pension fund assets under management.
