UK – Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow has bolstered its investment team with the appointment of Anne Freeman and John Belgrove.
Freeman joins from Deutsche Asset Management where she was head of defined contribution member communication and a member of the relationship management team. Prior to DeAM, she was with Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow for 11 years, the last three of which were spent as a DC specialist.
In her latest role at Hewitt, Freeman will have manager research responsibilities in the bundled and unbundled DC markets. She will also play a key role in further developing the recently launched fund delivery service, which allows pension funds to select “best in class” funds from the managers of their choice.
John Belgrove joins from Barclays Global Investors where he held senior client service and marketing positions. At Hewitt, he will focus on client service, and will be involved in building on the company’s client-centred approach.
Both will be based in London.
