UK - Hewitt Associates has hired a senior consultant from rival Watson Wyatt.
Hewitt said Tim Currell has joined its UK investment consulting practice as a senior investment consultant. He's the "latest recruit to the investment team at Hewitt's Leeds office".
Currell was at Watsons for seven years and was most recently head of a specialist team which concentrated on developing services and solutions for smaller schemes in the North of England, Hewitt said.
"Although he has advised on a wide range of investment issues, he has particular experience in developing coherent, risk-controlled strategies," a statement said.
"During his time in the investment consultancy field, Tim has developed an extensive knowledge of all aspects of investment advice and we are delighted that he has joined us," said Andrew Tunningley, head of UK Investment Consulting for Hewitt.
"His all-round consulting expertise will be put to good use advising our growing portfolio of clients. Tim also brings valuable manager research expertise - especially in the area of sustainable investment and corporate governance."
Last week Hewitt named Jay Rising as president its human resources outsourcing business. Steven Fein was named sales and product strategy leader while Robert Thomas was named to lead client implementations.
