UK - Cornwall County Council has tendered actuarial services for its £980m (€1.4bn) pension fund.
The defined benefit scheme's current actuary is Hymans Robertson LLP in Glasgow, which also provides financial advice for the council.
Asked whether Hymans Robertson LLP will re-tender, Vic Lush, the pension funds investment officer, told IPE: "I think it is probably likely that they will do."
The council is offering a five-year contract from December 1 with the option of extending it another two years subject to a review. The deadline for receipts of tenders or requests to participate is October 3.
The pension fund covers over 15,000 members. In March it reported returns of 26.6% but performance was 0.1% under benchmark.
