UK – Pensions actuaries Hymans Robertson has named two new partners – taking its total partners to 23.
The firm’s senior partner Ronnie Bowie said the appointments reflected the “continued, successful growth of the firm in the increasingly important world of employee benefits”.
“They also represent a very meaningful commitment to the further strengthening of our senior resources in both our consultancy and actuarial practices.”
The two new partners are Lindsay Davies and Charles Young. Davies is a senior consultant at the firm’s scheme design and management practice. He joined Hymans in 1996 and is a member of the Society of Pension Consultants’ public relations committee and an associate of the Pensions Management Institute.
Young recently joined Hymans as a partner from Towers Perrin and represents the firm at the Association of Consulting Actuaries.
In April the firm added staff to its Glasgow office and said that further hires were likely in the next few months. It is the leading provider of actuarial services to UK local government pension schemes.
