UK - Jonathan Ferrar is taking over from David Heath as director of the pension trustee board at computer colossus IBM's £4.4bn (€6.5bn) UK pension fund.
The news came in a note on the firm's web site from pension trust manager David Newman.
Heath resigned last year. Subsequently Ferrar, who joined IBM in 2000, took over as director of human resources for the UK, Ireland and South Africa in January.
The IBM UK pensions trust has also announced that it is reviewing process of nominating and selecting member nominated directors.
The review follows as recently new legislation on the procedures that must be followed in the selection and nomination was introduced.
"Consequently, the Trustee has been reviewing the exiting process in the light of the requirements of the new legislation and to see if there are further improvements that can be made," said Newman.
