EUROPE - A European industry wide pension fund has posted a search for an investment management firm to provide investment management services for a global emerging markets equity mandate, using IPE-Quest.
In the search, QN989, the fund says it wants to award a global emerging markets mandate of between $100m (€73.4m) and $200m, open to all equity classes.
The preferred benchmark is the MSCI emerging markets IMI (i.e. all cap).
The mandate will be awarded with expected funding in the second quarter of 2009, and the pension fund is open to considering all types of managers.
The closing date for the search is January 16.
