NETHERLANDS - Dutch bank ING says it has appointed Lilla Juranyi as its new director of securities services for Central and Eastern Europe.
Succeeding the retiring Harry Devroe, Juranyi will move from Hungary, where she was director of ING's security services and head of financial institutions, to Amsterdam in the second half of September.
Juranyi, who joined ING in 1992 and two years later co-established Security Services in Hungary for ING, will report to ING's executive vice president for wholesale banking and securities services, Guido Heyns.
Juranyi is a member of the Settlement Committee of the Budapest Stock Exchange. She was named head of personal banking in Hungary in 2004.
The firm is still looking to recruit someone to take up Juranyi's old position in Hungary.
Earlier this month ING named former global head of pensions Violeta Ciurel as general manager of public and international affairs.
