EUROPE – IPE has announced its second IPE AIMSE Scholarship, whereby a European marketing or sales professional will be able to attend the AIMSE Wharton Investment Institute in Pennsylvania next January. The scholarship, which is worth over $4,000, covers the cost of the week-long course at the prestigious US Wharton business school.

IPE will pay the full programme fee covering course sessions, reading materials and instructors’ fees, as well as accommodation and meals. But the scholarship winner will have to pay for travel.

Applicants need to be working currently full time for an investment management company and have at least three years experience in sales or marketing.

This year’s winner will be chosen during the week commencing 12th November.

Last year’s successful scholar, Wim Allegaert, head of product development at KBC Bank in Brussels, commented: “The course was given from an academic point of view- unbiased, no prep talk, no shares talk – it was professors giving their views and not company representatives.”
