UK – iShares has launched four new pan-European exchange traded funds (ETFs)to be managed out of London by Barclay’s Global Investors....
The funds are domiciled in Dublin with custody and administration handled by the Bank of Ireland.
They will be listed on the London stock exchange extraMARK segment alongside the existing sector funds for financials, pharmaceuticals, technology and telecoms and will track four new Bloomberg indices
The new funds will also be sector based as follows:
iBloomberg European Cyclicals
iBloomberg European Industrials
iBloomberg European Resources
iBloomberg European Staples
John Demaine, director of iShares comments: “Investors are developing a deeper understanding of sector investing in Europe, as diversification out of domestic markets grows. In offering a complete set of pan-European ETFs, iShares can meet this demand.”
