UK – J P Morgan Fleming Asset Management has named Martin Porter as its new global head of equities.
“In his new role, he will have responsibility for all quoted equities and balanced funds for the firm and the senior investment heads in these areas will now report directly to him,” the company said.
Martin, 45, is a 19-year veteran of J P Morgan and was previously the chief investment officer of the Fleming equity and balanced investment process globally.
Pablo Forero, currently chief investment officer for
international equities at J P Morgan, will work with Porter to help him manage the equity and balanced teams around the world.

enable us to more effectively leverage our best investment ideas across the whole range, thus maximising our ability to deliver the very best investment thinking to our clients globally."
J P Morgan Fleming Asset Management has 515 billion dollars of assets under management.
