UK- Information provider Russell/Mellon CAPS has appointed Richard Jobling to the newly-created position of head of sales, marketing and relationship management for UK and Europe.
Jobling has already been a consultant to CAPS for six months. CEO Fred Settelmeyer says: “Richard brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. His time working with us as a consultant gives him a valuable perspective on our organisation.”
Before completing a masters’ degree at the London Business school in 2001, Jobling spent six years at Euraplan, the software and services provider, as sales and marketing director and eventually as chief executive.
Following the 2001 merger of Russell/Mellon and performance measurement company CAPS, the combined operation now counts 2,300 investment managers, 1,200 pension funds and 50 consultancy firms as European clients.
