SWITZERLAND – Julius Baer Asset Management (JBAM) has appointed Urs Landolt as new chief executive officer (CEO) at its Zurich office, with effect from February next year.
Landolt replaces current CEO, Hansrüdi Huber, who has decided to step down.
Says a spokesperson for JBAM: “Mr Huber has decided to look for fresh challenges outside the Julius Baer group.”
Landolt will be entirely responsible for JBAM’s institutional clients and fund management activities in Switzerland.
He has some nine years experience in institutional asset management and fund distribution, and joins JBAM from Credit Suisse Asset Management, where his most recent position was managing director and regional head for the Middle East and Gulf States.
