SWITZERLAND - Bruno Lang, head of pension fund supervision in the Kanton Zürich is set to resign at the end of 2002.
Lang, well regarded for his liberal approach toward pension funds and the father of the BVV2 Swiss investment rules introduced in 1998, will take a job in private industry.
The Kanton Zürich is to reorganise and combine Lang’s role with other duties, taking away some autonomy of supervision from the position.
