The £110m (E172m) pension scheme of UK textile rental and dry-cleaning company Johnson Group has appointed KAS Bank as custodian to its global segregated equity mandate, managed by Wellington Management International.
Says Ben Kajtazi, head of relationship management, UK institutional investors at KAS: “This win is a continuation of the momentum gained in the first half of this year and supports our view of there being a demand in the marketplace for small to medium-sized pension schemes seeking an independent custodian.”
The appointment marks the sixth UK custody mandate award for the Dutch bank since KAS began its push into the UK market one year ago.
