UK - Actuarial consulting firm Lane Clark & Peacock has named a former finance chief of Ernst & Young in Australia as its new finance director.
A spokeswoman said Neil Gordon takes on the new rolem which has been created by an “internal reshuffle".
She added: "Neil's responsibilities were formerly handled by Alastair Gibb, who was director of finance and administration and who has since become partnership secretary." Gibb maintains responsibility for administration.
The firm said Neil Gordon Neil was previously at Australian law firm Allens Arthur Robinson. Before that he was director of finance at Ernst & Young (Australia).
"Based at LCP's London offices, Neil brings experience in installation of practice management systems, mergers, takeovers and acquisitions to the team," LCP said.
The firm also named Robin Smith and Alasdair Mayes as partners. Smith joined in February 2003 and advises corporate and trustee groups.
Mayes advises UK and overseas defined contribution and defined benefit schemes and joined in 1997.

Lane Clark & Peacock is part of South Africa-based Alexander Forbes.
