UK – Law Debenture has named a former Arthur Anderson partner as its new chief financial officer to replace Peter Skeggs.
“Tim Fullwood was a partner at Arthur Anderson between 1993 and 2002, where he was head of the Midlands assurance and business advisory division, based in
Birmingham,” Law Debenture said.
Managing director Caroline Banszky had taken over the role on a temporary basis after Skeggs’ departure in May. The company says that the CFO does not sit on the company’s board.
Law Debenture, which was recently removed from the FTSE 250 index, provides pension and commercial trustee services.
Skeggs’ departure in May followed a 23.5% decline in Law Debenture’s net asset value in 2002 last year. The company said he left to “pursue new challenges”.
In February the firm posted a total of 60.5 million pounds (97 million euros) in capital losses for 2002 - compared to a loss of 34.7 million pounds in 2001.
