UK - The £2.1bn (€3.2bn) Lothian Pension Fund has advertised a job vacancy for an investment manager.

"You will lead a small internal investment team with responsibility for the in-house managed portfolio as well as managing a number of external managers," the recruitment ad states. The job commands a salary of up to £51,717.

The role calls for "wide practical investment management experience with extensive knowledge of the specialist find management industry".

Acting investment manager Andrew Imrie is not leaving and is free to apply for the role, said a spokeswoman.

The Lothian Pension Fund pays pensions to former employees of the City Council, East, Mid and West Lothian Councils, the former Regional and District Councils, and the Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service, as well as a number of public sector organisations.
