GLOBAL - EFRP, SEB, Principal Global Investors, Gudme Raaschou, Threadneedle, BankInvest
European Federation for Retirement Provision (EFRP) - Jeroen Clicq is leaving to join the National Bank of Belgium as an adviser. Clicq, who will join the international and euro-system coordination unit of the Belgian institution on 3 October, will be responsible for dealing with international and European positions at the National Bank, focusing on the IMF, the OECD, Basel and other global issues.
SEB - Bo Magnusson, executive vice-president and head of business support, will leave SEB on 1 November and be replaced by Martin Johansson, currently head of the Baltic division. Meanwhile, David Teare, currently head of client relationship management within merchant banking, has been named the new head of the Baltic division. Johan Torgeby, currently head of large corporates within CRM, has been named the new head of CRM, merchant banking. Teare will also become an adjunct member of the bank’s group executive committee, reporting to Johansson. Peter Høltermand, head of SEB Denmark, and William Paus, head of SEB Norway, will also become adjunct members of the group executive committee. All these appointments will be effective on 1 November.
Principal Global Investors - Carl McAndrew has joined as director of consultant relations. McAndrew, who started in his new role this month, was previously director and head of sales at Unigestion. At Principal, he will be in charge of consultant relations in Europe.
Gudme Raaschou Asset Management - Ole Gorm has resigned at PenSam to become head of asset allocation at Gudme Raaschou Asset Management. Gorm started his new role on 1 August. Morten Hemmingsen will be responsible for liquid assets at PenSam, while Anders Pabian is now in charge of alternative assets.
Access Capital Advisers - Stephen Burns has been appointed to lead Access’s UK and Europe office, which includes the role of head of infrastructure in Europe. Burns, who joined the firm in 2003, was most recently a member of the infrastructure team. He replaces Toby Buscombe, who recently left the company to join the global infrastructure investment team at Mercer.
Threadneedle Investments - The asset management firm has appointed Chris Hamer as consultant relations director in the London office. Hamer will report to head of consultant relations Camilla Crowe. He joins from AllianceBernstein, where he was a consultant relations manager, having been with the firm since 2004.
BankInvest - The Danish asset manager has appointed Markus Postler as director of sales and marketing in Luxembourg as the firm seeks to develop the international distribution of BI SICAV sub-funds. Postler joins from RBC Dexia, where he was director of business development for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
