GLOBAL – Crédit Agricole, Royal London, Carmignac Gestion, Deutsche Bank, HSH Nordbank, Lombard Odier Investment Managers, Edmond de Rothschild Group
Crédit Agricole – Bernard de Wit has been appointed director of support and business development, replacing Jean-Paul Mazoyer, who joins Crédit Agricole as head of group IT. De Wit was director of risks and a member of the executive committee at Amundi. Before then, he served as financial director at Crédit Agricole’s international retail banking network.
Royal London – The UK’s largest mutual life and pensions company has appointed Catherine Read as head of audit, subject to FSA approval. She joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was a director within the insurance and investment management risk assurance division. She replaces Tracy Yam, who left in January.
Carmignac Gestion – Vincent Aguado and Pierre-Edouard Bonenfant have joined as traders. Aguado joins from JP Morgan, where he was promoted to the role of vice-president, while Bonenfant joins from THEAM (BNP Paribas IP&CIB), where he was a derivatives structurer within the systematic strategies team.
Deutsche Bank – Igor Lojevsky has been appointed vice-chairman of Eastern Europe for its Asset & Wealth Management and Corporate Banking & Securities divisions. Lojevsky was most recently chief country officer for Deutsche Bank Russia, a position he held from 2008.
HSH Nordbank – Shareholders have appointed Thomas Mirow to Nordbank’s supervisory board as chairman. He replaces Hilmar Kopper, who announced his resignation in December of last year. Thomas Losse-Müller, parliamentary secretary of state in the Schleswig-Holstein ministry of finance, was also appointed to the board, replacing Detlev Brehmkamp.
Lombard Odier Investment Managers – The Switzerland-based asset manager has appointed Tim Yetman to build its global macroeconomic franchise. Yetman has previous experience setting up and running a hedge fund firm as founding partner of OLEA Capital Partners.
Edmond de Rothschild Group – Philippe Loiseau has been appointed global chief operating officer. He joins from Société Générale Private Banking, where he was chief operating officer. Before then, he spent eight years at BNP Paribas Wealth Management as organisational head.
