All Pensions Group - Guus Warringa will become chief legal counsel and manager legal and fiscal affairs of APG Investments on October 1. Warringa is currently director of the legal and regulations department of NYSE Euronext Amsterdam and cash business lawyer at NYSE Euronext in Paris and Amsterdam.
The Pension Regulator - Martine Trouard-Riolle, head of the corporate risk management team, is leaving “to pursue other career options”, as a result of a restructuring which will see the corporate risk management and scheme-specific funding teams merged into a single operation. A decision has yet to be taken on the long-term management arrangements, but business leadership of the corporate risk management team will initially come under Ian Cordwell, who will also continue to lead the scheme-specific funding team.
Mercer - Eberhardt Froitzheim, head of consulting at Mercer Human Resource Consulting in Frankfurt, has left the company. There is no direct replacement for him as yet.
New Star - Donald Pepper will join from Merrill Lynch International in September as head of alternative investment, replacing Charles Tritton.
Schroders Investment Management - Institutional sales of the Schroders Investment Management office in Germany will be headed by Carlos Böhles, previously at Merrill Lynch International Bank in Frankfurt. Moreover, David Burns, who headed the Spanish office for Schroders, has relocated permanently to London. Leonardo Matthias will take on his responsibilities as well as leading the Portuguese office.
DNB - Arnold Schilder, member of the board of directors at the Dutch central bank, DNB, will leave the bank early next year to become the chairman of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) in New York.
Lane Clark & Peacock - Phil Cuddeford (pictured) has left Towers Perrin to join as senior consultant. He will work across LCP International Consulting and LCP Financial Dynamics practice areas.
Northern Trust - State Street’s Michael Wu has been appointed as deputy chief representative of Northern Trust’s Beijing representative office. This is a newly-created role.
Ernst & Young - Howard Roth has been promoted to become the organisation’s new global and Americas director of real estate. Roth replaces Dale Anne Reiss who retired at the end of June.
BlackRock - ABN Amro Asset Management’s Alexis De Mones has been appointed as global product specialist in its fixed income team. Based in London, De Mones will report to Michelle Scrimgeour, chief operating officer for institutional fixed income.
Hewitt Associates - Ian Bailey has left BlackRock after 31 years to join Hewitt’s investment consulting team in the UK.
Aon Risk Services - Gaynor Brough has been promoted to business development director within Aon Global’s captive team in the Isle of Man.
Millennium Global Investments - Marc Clapasson has joined as managing director for product and business relationships, based in Geneva. He joins from Prime Capital (Asset Management) in Frankfurt where he was also a member of the investment committee.
Ermitage - Daniel Eichner has been appointed as head of relative value strategies. He joins from rival US based fund of fund firm Lighthouse.
Architas Multi-Manager - As part of the transfer of six AXA Framlington Multimanager funds to Architas Multi-Manager on July 1, Caspar Rock has been appointed as deputy chief investment officer of Architas, and will continue to manage the funds.
