UK – Hedge fund outfit MAN Investment Products (MIP) has hired Paolo di Montorio-Veronese as regional manager, Europe, for its London-based sales team.

Di Montorio-Veronese joins from Pioneer Alternative Investments, the hedge fund arm of UniCredito – Italy’s second largest bank, where he was chief marketing officer.

At Pioneer, he also held the title of head of global distribution of alternative investment products and was coordinator of the investment committee of Pioneer's first fund of hedge funds, launched in June 2001.

In addition, James Jacklin, assistant regional manager, Europe at MIP, will take up responsibility for expanding the firm’s institutional and retail business in the UK.
