UK - There's been some management changes at State Street in the UK.
They include investor services head Peter Baker returning to Asia and a new relationship director joining State Street Global Advisors from State Street's performance measurement arm WM.
The bank said today that Baker, currently in charge of investor services business in the UK, Middle East and Southern Africa, would move to Singapore to become head of investor services for Asia ex. Japan. He'd been in the UK role since 2004.
And SSGA has named WM's Andrew Nicoll as relationship director, a new role. He'll report to Kanesh Lakhani, managing director for SSGA in the UK.
"Nicoll will cultivate and extend relationships with new and existing SSGA clients in the UK," a statement said.
Nicoll joins SSGA after nine years at WM Performance Services, State Street's investment performance business.
Prior to WM, Nicoll served as a tax consultant with Arthur Andersen, specialising in corporate tax. He holds an MA with joint honours in economics and law from Edinburgh University.
