IRELAND – Mellon Financial has made two appointments in its Dublin-based asset servicing arm, Mellon Global Securities Services.
Mellon said that Kevin O’Neill has been named business development manager, with responsibility for offshore administration and trust and custody services. He was formerly at Bank of Ireland Asset Management.
Stuart Kent joins from J P Morgan in Luxembourg to become client relationship manager.
Kevin Potts, managing director at Mellon Fund Administration, said: “Mellon’s Dublin operations had a successful year in 2002, growing our assets under administration significantly.”
Mellon GSS has around 50 staff in Dublin and is part of Pittsburgh-based Mellon Financial Corp. Mellon has around 3.1 trillion dollars in assets under management, administration or custody.
