UK- Mellon European Fund Services has appointed George McKay as director of business development. Based in London, McKay will be responsible for new business and client relationship management.

He will work alongside the director of marketing Julian Tregoning and will report directly to the managing director Richard Godfrey.

McKay relocates from his job as managing director of mutual funds at JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management in Hong Kong. While at JP Morgan, he was also head of its technology and operations.

Prior to that he was with Save & Prosper for eighteen years during which time he gained experience of international fund management operations while supporting Fleming’s operation in Luxembourg.

Richard Godfrey says: "George has extensive experience of running a fund management business overseas, and his expertise will provide a great complement to that of Julian Tregoning who has gained similar experience in the UK."
