CZECH REPUBLIC/TURKEY – Human resource consulting firm, William M. Mercer, has opened new offices in Prague and Istanbul, expanding its presence in central Europe and Turkey to four offices....
“ We were servicing clients in these countries from our offices in Poland and Hungary, but now a sufficient client base has been building in Turkey and the Czech Republic to warrant opening offices there,” says Stephanie Poe, spokesperson for Mercer in Washington.
Martin Macha, formerly divisional director at Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs in Prague, will head up the Czech office.
Sibel Yucesan, with more than 10 years of consulting and corporate experience at local consultants, will lead the Turkish office in Istanbul.
“ As the central European economies have developed rapidly toward economic models that will enable them to accede to the European Union, there has been a growing demand for human resource and employee benefit services in these countries,” says Edouard Merette, head of Mercer’s Ireland and continental Europe region.
