UK - Watson Wyatt has hired Jean-Francois Tondreau from Mercer Human Resource Consulting to be a senior international consultant in its benefits practice.
Watson said Tondreau, known as JF, has worked for Mercer in the UK for the last five years. For the last three years he was seconded to oil giant BP as an international pensions adviser. At BP he supported the in-house mergers and acquisitions team in acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures.
He will be based in London and support Watson Wyatt's Paris office in building consulting services to French multinationals.
Simon Dudley, head of the European international group at Watson Wyatt, said: "I am delighted to welcome JF to Watson Wyatt. He brings a wealth of knowledge and international experience which will allow us to continue to strengthen our international consulting team, both in the UK and in continental Europe."
A Mercer spokeswoman said Tondreau would not be directly replaced. She said the firm has recently strengthened its international practice with a series of new hires.
