UK – Denise Hadgill has been appointed as a director of the UK institutional team and UK investment specialist at Merrill Lynch Investment Management (MLIM) in London. She joins from Schroders after 13 years as a UK fund manager, most recently mainly in client relations and reporting.

Hadgill will be a member of the investment manager’s alpha team and will work with the fund management and relationship management teams on UK portfolios.
“ This is an important client facing role and we are delighted to have someone with Denise’s breadth of experience in research, fund management and relationship management,” says Anne Richards, head of the alpha team at the manager.

Prior to joining Schroders, Hadgill spent two years in Eurobond research at London based adviser SGST, and three years as an oil analyst at securities house Smith New Court.
