**MFS appoints Willcocks as UK sales director**
MFS International U.K. has appointed Jonathan Willcocks as its director of sales.
The firm says the appointment strengthens the current team and underlines MFS's commitment to the UK marketplace.
"We are delighted that Jonathan is joining us", said Steve Coxshall,
director, sales at MFS U.K. "Our UK business is growing and this has led
us to restructure and expand our sales & marketing team. Jonathan is
well-known in the UK marketplace and his experience and knowledge will be
a great asset to our team."
Willcocks joins MFS after eight years at Aberdeen Asset Management where he
worked as a director for sales.
**Invesco hires new CIO for Japan and new PR boss**
UK – Invesco has made two new appointments. Jane Drew joins as head of public relations whilst Ian Burden is new chief investment officer for Invesco Japan.
Drew joins from Charles Schwab Europe, where she took care of communications strategy for Europe.
Burden’s most recent job was at Sofaer Capital, where he was a hedge fund manager.
**Axa hires more research analysts**
UK – Axa Investment Managers has appointed two new analysts to its equity research team in London.
Jan Keuppens joins the technology team from Axa in the Netherlands, where he has spent the last three years.
Dr Chris Donnellan joins the pharmaceuticals team. He previously worked for Datamonitor where he led research team specialising in pharmaceuticals.
