UK – David Poole, former director of marketing at Singer Friedlander Investment Management, has joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

Poole joins MLIM as director and head of business development for private investors. Responsible for developing business, sales, and product development input for the UK, Poole will work alongside Charles Connell in London. Two more members of the team are based in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

Prior to joining, Poole spent eight years at Singer and Friedlander Investment Management. His former role has now been split so that he has been replaced by June Diment as head of marketing, and Richard Kunzer as head of institutional business development.

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers manages around 1.1 trillion dollars (960 billion euros) worldwide.
