UK- Morley Fund Management has appointed two new heads within its institutional team. In a new role, Alistair Morrison will be heading up institutional business across the UK and Europe, and reporting to him will be Gordon Milne, head of client services. Both join Morley this month.
Morrison’s role will include developing client relationships in the institutional market in the UK and Europe. He will report to Malcom Le May, deputy chief executive officer and head of Morley’s European division. Morrison previously worked at Deutsche Asset Management as managing director and head of UK institutional sales.
Milne replaces the recently retired John Parrott to assume the role of head of client service. He will be responsible for client management across the UK and European institutional markets. Prior to joining Morley, Milne worked in the same role at Citibank Asset Management.
Morley’s retail business also saw a new addition yesterday. Charles Hoblyn was appointed as the new head of UK Investment Sales, responsible for sales of investment funds to the discretionary market. Hoblyn reports to Alan Gadd, head of UK retail.
Prior to joining Morley, Hoblyn was responsible for the sales and product development of UK based hedge funds at Meinl Capital Markets.
