UK – Morley Fund Management has boosted its pan-European equities team with the addition of David Shapiro and Daniel Roberts.
Both Shapiro and Roberts have recently joined Morley as value fund managers specialising in UK equities.
Shapiro previously worked at UBS Global Asset Management where he was a pan-European sector analyst, and a fund manager. Prior to UBS, he worked at the Universities Superannuation Scheme, Manulife Investment Management and Girozentrale Gilbert Elliot.
In his new role, he will head up the UK value team and report to Mike Bishop, head of pan-European equities. Roberts will report to Shapiro.
Roberts joined Morley from Invesco Asset Management where he was a UK fund manager and pan-European equity analyst. He has also worked at M&G Investment Management, J P Morgan and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Together the two new recruits will manage funds worth three billion pounds (4.3 billion euros).
Morley Fund Management is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aviva, and has over 100 billion pounds (144.7 billion euros) under management.
