UK - After 14 years, Bill Muysken, gobal head of research at Mercer Investment Consulting is leaving to join the London-based hedge fund multi-manager Thames River Capital.
At Mercer, Andy Barber will take on Muysken's responsibilities as part of his current role as global head of manager research, a spokeswoman confirmed to IPE.
In his new role, Muysken will joins Thames River Capital "in a senior management position", a spokesman said.
"He brings a depth of experience in manager research that will allow him to make a valuable contribution to our existing multi-manager product range," Charlie Porter, CEO at Thames River Capital, commented.
Elsewhere, it emerged that Aviva CEO Richard Harvey, 56, will step down on July 11 2007.
Andrew Moss, currently group finance director, will succeed Harvey. Philip Scott, now executive director, will replace Moss and Patrick Snowball, currently executive director at Aviva UK will continue to be responsible for Norwich Union, RAC and Aviva's offshore services.
