UK/US– The Bank of New York has appointed Paul Myners as non-executive director with effect from March. Myners recently stepped down form his position as chairman of Gartmore Investment Management to pursue other interests and build his portfolio of non-executive board posts.
He also recently completed the government commissioned review he led into the UK’s fund management industry. Myners is also chairman of Lloyd’s of London Investment Committee and the Guardian Media Group. In addition, he is a director of mmO2, the mobile phone spin-off business from BT.
