NETHERLANDS – National Association of Pension Funds chairman Robin Ellison is to chair IPE Real Estate’s Investor Forum & Awards in Amsterdam on June 1.

Institutional investors representing a total of €680bn will attend the event at the Hilton Amsterdam.

“At the IPE Real Estate Investor Forum & Awards we have asked our team of investor and consultant judges to recommend who they believe have been the wisest institutional investors across the European regions,” said IPE Real Estate Editor Ashley Nield.

“Our overall winners will comprise the best real estate investment performers for small, medium and large pension funds respectively.

“We have also asked our readers who they believe are the best investment service providers - an acid test so these winners will thoroughly deserve the acclaim they receive. In addition, we will be presenting an award for outstanding contribution to the real estate investment arena.”

Following a canal cruise on May 31 the forum and awards will feature presentations on valuation, maximising alpha and an asset allocation game.

There will be case studies by Nordrheinische Aerzteversorgung and SPF Beheer. Open-ended fund vehicles will be discussed by WalzConsult, the Church Commissioners and the WPV pension fund.
