NETHERLANDS - Margreet de Nie-Sarink has been named as managing director of Shell Pensions Bureau Netherlands, the organisation has announced.
De Nie has already been director of pensions at Shell Pensions Bureau Netherlands, or SPN, as of January 1 2006, when its new organisational structure took effect. Previously she has working for a long time for the multinational's pension fund.
The new managing director has been appointed as of December 11.
SPN is responsible for the pensions administration, advice on pensions and support of the board of Stichting Shell Pensioen Fonds.
The new managing director is taking over from Peter Bronkhorst, who filled the job on a temporary basis, a spokesman said.
Bronkhorst will remain managing director of Shell Asset Management Company, or Samco, the asset manager of Shell's pension funds worldwide, he added.
Last year, Shell started to bring all its pension funds worldwide into one organisation, and under one roof in Holland to create a €50bn asset management operation.
