NETHERLANDS – Jeroen Tielman, the founder of FundPartners and the current director of pension business development at NIBC Bank, is to join pension management firm Cordares in a senior role.
Tielman told IPE that he has offered his resignation to NIBC and accepted an offer to join Cordares as managing director strategy and innovation.
Asset structuring firm FundPartners was set up in 2001 and was finally bought out NIB Capital a year ago.
“I think Cordares is well positioned to benefit from the changes unfolding in the Dutch pension landscape,” Tielman said. “The company has solid ambitions and I look forward to work together with my new colleagues to realize these ambitions.”
Cordares serves around 1m pension participants, and has €22.5bn in assets under management.
