IRELAND/SCANDINAVIA – Kent Eldebrink has been appointed as managing director of Dublin based occupational pension solution provider Euroben.

The joint venture between life and pension insurance companies SPP in Sweden and Storebrand in Norway provides pensions solutions to workers in Nordic companies with operations in several countries.

Eldebrink, marketing director at life insurer SPP Liv, succeeds Storebrand’s Fröystein Johansen on August 27 as head of the joint company. Johansen lead the establishment of the firm, and its first Norwegian and Swedish clients were signed up in April.

Euroben has offices in Oslo and Stockholm and is planning to open subsidiaries in Denmark, Germany and the UK.
