IPE Nordic Forum - Summer 2021

Key topics

  • Trends in European credit markets
  • Demographics
  • A view from Denmark

IPE Nordic is a series of forums dedicated to senior Nordic pension funds and institutional investors that launched in October 2020. These virtual morning seminars bring together Nordic pension fund decision-makers and other key local stakeholders with asset management specialists, European pension fund peers as well as other pension experts. These peer-to-peer informative and knowledge-sharing events are free to attend for qualified pension funds and institutional investors.

As we are heading towards the third quarter of 2021, hope is slowly emerging that we will be able to return to some form of normality within the next few months. At the IPE Nordic Forum - Summer 2021 the presentations and discussions will look at how pension funds and investors view the opportunities going forward. As in IPE Nordic's previous forums, we will find out the investment strategies and asset classes that form the main focus for a local pension fund. In additon, we have a panel discussion on European Credit focusing on the opportunities and risks in this space. We will be discussing the role credit investments play in the expected recovery, inflationary concerns and upward pressure on yields, among others. Our final keynote is a global macro researcher specialising in demographics related to economics, investment and social policy - which in the post-Covid world will be key if we are to ‘build back better’.
