NORWAY - Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is looking to appoint a new investment operations administrator on the equities team.
The bank said it is looking for a "specialist in the field of global custody and transaction processing products to enhance competence and to improve service deliveries from third party providers".
The successful candidate will replace the incumbent operations administrator who is changing to another position within the equities department, a spokeswoman for NBIM told IPE. She could not disclose any names.
She said that the appointment will not mean any changes for the custody for the NOK1.7trn (€205bn) Norwegian Government Pension Fund - Global, for which NBIM is responsible.
Main responsibilities of the position include "the on-going maintenance and development of specific global custody and transaction-management-related services provided to the equity group by leading international financial institutions together with administration tasks to support the equity team".
