NORWAY - Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is seeking a tax adviser on investments of the NOK1.88trn (€236.3bn) Norwegian Government Pension Fund - Global.
The fund is looking for someone to provide "annual reports and continuous reporting service regarding tax liabilities" on equity and bond investments.
NBIM is managing the investments of Europe's largest pension fund, formerly known as the Petroleum fund. It is invested entirely outside Norway in 43 foreign markets.
A spokeswoman for the fund could not comment on the name of the incumbent tax advisor. However, she told IPE it was the first time the fund tendered tax advice "in this format".
Tenders must be drawn up in English or Norwegian by August 3.
