NORWAY - The Norwegian municipality of Ski has issued a tender for the provision of services to set up a new occupational pension scheme.
Ski, which is an agricultural and forestry community with 110,000 inhabitants, is looking for a firm to establish a two-year framework agreement to develop and establish a new occupational scheme.
The contract, which can be extended for a further three years on an annual basis, requires the successful operator to develop an occupational pension that complies with the Main Tariff Agreement within the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities.
Details listed in the tender notice showed the contract is scheduled to begin on January 1 2009 for completion on December 31 2010, with Ski expected to invite three operators to participate in the tender process.
The deadline for applications for the tender process is August 15 2008.
