UK - Norfolk County Council has appointed Hymans Robertson to implement an online pensions system to help manage the £1.8bn (€2.07bn) scheme on behalf of its 50,000 members.

Details of a tender notice issued by Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation, on behalf of Norfolk CC, reveal a secure online system needed to be put in place for members and the 100 employers from January this year.

Elsewhere, Hewitt Associates is now the scheme actuary for the main £1bn (€1.15bn) Harmsworth Pension Scheme, which has over 21,000 members and two other Daily Mail and General Trust pension schemes.
