Parsons to head up EFG AM global marketing push

UK – EFG Asset Management, part of the global EFG banking group, has hired John Parsons, a former sales director for Barclays International Funds, to become its marketing director.

Parsons has also held a senior management post at KPMG Peat Marwick in New York and was CFO of the Total Research Corporation.

He comments: “EFG Asset Management has an extremely high quality asset management team with some excellent products, which have been distributed almost exclusively through EFG’s own banking channels to date. I am delighted to be given this opportunity to market EFG’s capabilities to the broader asset management markets.”
