UK - Thames River Capital has been awarded three institutional mandates, including two UK-based pension funds, for its multi-manager services.
Satra Technology Centre, based in Northampton, appointed the investment firm's multi-manager offering to run part of its pension fund, while Norwegian shipping company Gotaas-Laarsen has chosen some of the offering for its UK pension fund.
Gotaas-Laarsen has invested some of its assets across the Thames River cautious managed, equity managed and global boutiques funds, and combined with a segregated UK equity multi-manager mandate from the Armed Forces Common Investment Fund, the new appointments have a total value of £30m (€35.1m).
The multi-manager offering was launched by Thames River Capital in October 2007 and had total assets under management of more than £145m by the end of May.
