NETHERLANDS - Léon Muller, senior portfolio strategist for real estate at Dutch health care pension fund PGGM, is leaving to join Bouwfonds Asset Management as head of research.
"I am leaving PGGM after almost eight years to pursue other opportunities in the property world," he told IPE. He said he would join Bouwfonds - which was bought yesterday by Rabobank from ABN Amro for €845m - as of October 1.
"My aims are to build a research-led investment process for Bouwfonds' European and US businesses. I will be based at the office in Hoevelaken."
He added: "I have been lucky to work with and befriend many interesting and talented people during my time at PGGM - colleagues, clients and fellow professionals. I therefore very much hope that our association will continue in some form in the future."
