EUROPE - US firm Prudential Financial's Pramerica fixed income arm has named former Threadneedle executive Peter Lindqvist to lead its institutional client relations Europe.

Pramerica Investment Management-Fixed Income said Lindqvist, formerly executive director and head of strategic alliances at Threadneedle Investments, would be a managing director based in London.

The appointment follows last year's launch of a bank loan strategy in Europe, a release stated.

Lindqvist has also had roles as regional sales director for Continental Europe for Citigroup Asset Management as well as at Baring Asset Management and Skandia Group, Pramerica said.

Prudential Financial is not related to the UK's Prudential.
