Five German professional pension funds have selected Feri Trust to run an advisory contract on investments worth €5bn in alternative assets.
The asset management firm will advise on investments in private markets, including private equity, infrastructure, private debt, and hedge funds.
Under the terms of the mandate, Feri will oversee existing and new asset allocations in alternative investment strategies.
The five professional pension funds for doctors, veterinarians, pharmacists, engineers and architects, are part of the Berlin-based Verwaltungsgesellschaft für Versorgungswerke VGV.
The VGV is an association of eight professional pension funds that has conducted the search for the asset manager, ultimately choosing Feri Trust.
