UK - Psolve Asset Solutions, sister firm of consultant Punter Southall, says it has hired three investment consultants from Aon in Scotland.

Psolve said it has hired Zuhair Mohammed, Simon Jones and Damian Mitcham. Mohammed, who headed Aon’s investment consulting practice in Scotland, will join in April as a principal and client relationship manager.

“All three were previously employed as investment consultants at Aon,” Psolve said, adding that the appointments will take it to 42 staff full-time employees.

“We are delighted to have on board such experienced and well regarded individuals to strengthen the senior team already in place at Psolve,” said Psolve chief operating officer Andrew Drake.

“This reflects our growing business and our commitment to providing innovative investment advice. The new team members will also enhance our presence in Scotland, which continues to be a key market for us.”

In November Psolve Alternative Investments, a new hedge funds-of-funds division, named Jabir Sardharwalla as an investment director.
